MAMA June Shannon and her late daughter Anna Cardwell's ex-husband Michael are set to face off in court next month over custody of the star's oldest daughter Kaitlyn, 11.
June, 44, and her late daughter's ex-husband will be in court for the first time in their nasty battle over Kaitlyn, which began just days after Anna's tragic passing in December from adrenal cancer at just 29 years old.

The case recently took a vicious turn, as The U.S. Sun previously reported that June made shocking allegations of abuse against Michael in his marriage to her daughter.
"During his marriage to Anna, the plaintiff frequently physically abused Anna and the child and it would not be in the child's best interest to be in the plaintiff's care and control," June's filing stated.
"Michael flatly denies any type of abuse of his children or his ex-wife or any other past girlfriend.
"We will see how June plans to prove this or any other of her supposed truths or allegations," Michael's lawyer added.

June responded to several of Michael's claims for custody in her recent filing as well.

The father-of-one had claimed in his initial complaint for custody that Kaitlyn would visit when he had Kylee.

June, however, claimed that those visits were only happening because "The child of the marriage did not wish to visit the father if Kaitlyn did not come with her.

"While Kaitlyn did sometimes accompany her sibling, the visits were infrequent."
Michael also highlighted Anna and her mother's well-documented contentious relationship in his initial plea for custody.

However, June responded: "As far as allegations that June and Anna were not close, Anna did reside with the maternal grandmother from ages 11 through 16 or 17.

"Outside of one short period of disagreement, the defendant and Anna had a stable parent-child relationship.

"Kaitlyn has spent her childhood regularly seeing and spending time with the defendant.

"On the other hand, the plaintiff has had an inconsistent presence in the child's life since at least 2017," June claimed.

June was asking that Michael's petition be denied and dismissed.

The reality star and her late daughter's ex-husband have been locked in a nasty court battle over the custody of June's oldest grandchild since December.
