Hi guys ....kora and I (Jess) are Adelaide based nurses, we are learning the ropes of multi-day hiking one adventure at a time and want to share our journey with others to inspire and help others in their own hiking adventures and those interested in hiking or just the views we capture along the way, so please watch, like, comment and share as you please

This video shows day 2 of our multi-day hike, where we drove to the alligator Gorge car park after coming the mt Remarkable summit in Melrose.
we arrived at 130pm, had our lunch at the picnic tables, cold soaked cous cous and tuna for me, tuna wraps for kora, before starting our hike.
we choose to tackle the Alligator Gorge Ring Route 9km loop, while we planned on circling back to complete the narrows 3km loop, our plans needed to be adjusted after I took a fall at 4pm (2hrs into our hike) and ended up with a stick, stick in my leg and a nasty cut to boot.
after some first aid we decided to complete the planned ring Route and seek medical attention post hike as the bleeding was controlled at that time. we note that we are both registered nurses and this was a personal choice.

The hike was beyond beautiful, with rock formations, flora and views that left us speachless we found ourselves moving far slower than our usual pace just out of appreciation of our environment. we cannot recommend this hike enough, to anyone who hasn't done it and those who have, we say go again, we sure will :)


we also recommend taking 2L of water, a phone, first aid supplies, sturdy shoes, clothes to suit the weather, and ensure to take a friend and let people know your planned route. also be aware that this trail is rough on the knees and hamstrings if you have underlying injuries be aware and listen to your body
