Today, we're going to take a look at the 10 inch pre-greased trailer hub and drum assembly for 3,500 pound axles with the five on four and three quarter inch bolt pattern. Now this trailer hub and drum assembly will provide the surface area right in here for your brake shoes to grip when your brakes are activated. And this is compatible with both electric and hydraulic drum brakes. And this is a pre-greased hub and drum assembly, which is very easy to install. So there was no need to have to pack the bearings with grease, they'll come already greased, and then they put a plug in there to keep the grease in there. It will include the pre-greased inner and outer bearings.

The bearing races, which are pre-installed. Right here is the grease seal. If I pop that plug out, you can see even the grease seal is pre-installed in there.And it does come with the standard grease cap and then five of the half inch by 20 size lug nuts. Now this is a sturdy iron construction does use a zinc and rich paint on the drum to add durability. And if you notice on the wheel studs, they're zinc finished to help resist corrosion.

This is QAI and CSA certified. Again, the specs on this, it's designed to fit 3,500 pound trailer axles with the number 84 spindles. And it is compatible with standard axles from most of the manufacturers, including Dexter Lippert and Al Koh. Now the actual drum dimension, which is measured here on the inside. The diameter, you can see if we put a ruler on is right at 10 inches and the depth is going to be right at two and a half inches wide.

It is designed to work with 10 inch brake assembly.The bolt pattern we mentioned is a five on four and three quarter inch bolt pattern wheel stud diameter is a half an inch, and the weight capacity on this one is 1,750 pounds. So when it's used with one on the other side of the axle, it'll meet your 3,500 pound axle rating. Now the bearings that are already installed it here, it uses an inner bearing of L68149 outer bearing of L44649. The grease seal that's included and installed is 58846. The standard cap is part number F001518 and then the five lug nuts that are included as CE11051.
