Baal's Bastion: The Worldstone Keep - Diablo 2 Resurrected

Baal's Bastion, the Worldstone Keep, contains three levels, including the Throne of Destruction. All levels in this farming zone are Area Level (alvl) 85, including the most cumulative number of Elite & Champion packs of 85 farming areas. Nowhere else in the game will you find a more varied bunch of Monster types than in the Worldstone Keep due to the guest monsters feature of Act 5. Despite the variety of monsters that can spawn, in any single run, you will only see 3 - 5 different enemies on each level. There are 6 - 8 Champion/Unique mobs on each floor of the Worldstone Keep, with an extra 4 -5 in the Throne of Destruction. Every Elite, Champion, Super Unique, and Baal can drop every Unique and Set item in the game!

While it is the most dangerous and difficult magic find area in D2R, the high density of Champion packs (up to 29), in addition to the 5 Super Uniques & Baal himself, make this one of the epicenters of Diablo 2 Resurrected farming. Many players will team up in public "Baal Runs" to maximize their player-based experience and decrease NoDrop's chances of acquiring loot.

In the Throne of Destruction, Baal, the Lord of Destruction, summons five waves of powerful Super Unique monsters, spawning additional minions. Colenzo the Annihilator, Achmel the Cursed, Bartuc the Bloody, Ventar the Unholy, and Lister the Tormentor are all Monster Level 88, Treasure Class of 87, and they can all drop up to Zod Rune. Before facing Baal, the Lord of Destruction himself, you must kill all five waves to enter the Worldstone Chamber.

As a quick final tip, keep all Grand Charms that drop from Baal, as you can re-roll charms in the Horadric Cube in hopes of acquiring the coveted +45 to Life affix!
