ISKCON Temple, Abids, Hyderabad is one of the oldest and prominent temples in Hyderabad. International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) was established in 1966 by Swami Prabhupada in New York city, USA. In India, Abhaya Charanaravinda Bhakthi Vedanta Swami Prabhupada established 4 ISKCONs, among them Abids ISKCON is the second temple. The first being Vrindavan ISKCON in Uttar Pradesh, third one being ISKCON Juhu, Mumbai and fourth being Mayapur ISKCON in West Bengal.

Starting from Mangal Aarti at Brahma Muhurtham 4:30 AM early in the morning to Shayana Aarti at 8:30 PM in the night, ISKCON, Abids allows devotees to have darshan of Sri RadhaKrishna and participate in different Aartis throughout the day. This temple offers special personality development classes through the lessons of Bhagavad Gita and Bhagavatam classes to Youth and Homemakers. This temple is just 250 meters away from Gandhi Bhavan metro station.

Sri Krishna Janmashtami is celebrated with utmost religious fervor in this temple, a day full of divine events along with Annadanam (Maha Prasadam) to over 2 lakh devotees is organized by ISKCON management.
