Marlboro has been the most popular cigarette brand in most of the world since the late 1960's, early 1970's, even though they had been on the market much longer than that. Now, I don't know exactly when they came onto the Mexican Cigarette Market, but it was probably around the 1970's if I had to guess, and these days, Phillip Morris claims that Marlboro is the best selling brand in the country, a claim I don't doubt. So, it makes sense for them to continue introducing new cigarettes, with this being one of them, having been released in Mexico sometime in 2022.
