All New 2023 Renault Duster Is Coming - Hybrid, ADAS, Panoramic Sunroof. The Trendsetter Is Back

In 2012, Renault launched the Duster SUV in india. Which also kick-started, the midsize monocoque SUV trend in India.

Initial years of Duster, exceeded the expectations, and was an instant hit. But Renault couldn't taste the success, for more than 3 years, after the arrival of Hyundai creta. It even faded away, after the arrival multiple new SUV's.

Duster received notable updates over the years, but nothing close to cope with rivals. Renault almost kept the Duster, as same as it was in 2012.

But on contrast, global spec Duster, even gained a new gen model, and still the Indian spec continued to get revisions, to extend the life cycle of the first gen model. Duster was lost in the game with it's poor updates, and eventually put to sleep.

After the decent success of the Kiger, the new generation Duster giving a comeback. It could arrive between 2023 to 2024. Will be based on a brand new, CMF-B lower spec architecture, which is modular as well as affordable suiting developing markets, like india.

powering part, will be taken care by hybrid engine setup, to achieve fuel efficiency and torque of a diesel car. This will also help to cope with, upcoming strict emission norms.

As for the design, it will be heavily influenced by the Bigster concept. The styling will gain modern elements, while retaining the character of an SUV, like prominent wheel arches, squared-off fenders, muscular bodywork, etc.

Like the exterior design, the cabin will get multi layered dashboard, with large touchscreens, panoramic sunroof, connected car features, premium sound system and more. The safety pack will also include, multiple airbags, ESC, hill hold assist, 360 view camera, and even most anticipated ADAS features.

With Renault's alliance with nissan, we can surely expect a nissan's version of the SUV, with Nissan's own design philosophy, similar to Kiger versus Magnite.
