The Phthalo Blue mixtures are intense — maybe too intense.
I learned a lot about what doesn't work in a palette today.

In the third session of building my color chart, I tackled the Phthalo Blue column… and wow, the results surprised me. The colors I mixed with Phthalo Blue felt completely out of place! Harsh, garish, and totally discordant with the rest of the limited palette.

Honestly? This session made me seriously reconsider using this palette at all. But that’s the point of the color chart, it’s not just about making pretty swatches. It’s about learning, experimenting, and discovering which colors don’t play well together.
