New Cyberabad commissioner of police Sri Stephen Raveendra, IPS, took up the Green India challenge given by TRS Rajya Sabha MP, Sri Joginapally Santosh Kumar, and planted a sapling in Cyberabad Police Commissionerate premises and called for the protection of the environment. The Green India Challenge initiative of TRS Rajya Sabha MP, Joginapally Santosh Kumar continues to attract support from all walks of life. Stephen Raveendra is an IPS officer of the 1999 batch, before joining as CP Cyberabad, earlier served as Inspector General of Police, Hyderabad Range, DCP West Zone, and was DIG in the special elite special forces Grey Hound. A product of the Osmania University, Raveendra, the son of MB Ranjit, a former DSP, did his schooling at St.Paul’s High School and graduated from Little Flower Junior College and Nizam College, all in Hyderabad.
