Generate a DSM from a point cloud in QGIS using the LASTools plugin

Описание к видео Generate a DSM from a point cloud in QGIS using the LASTools plugin

This video demonstrates how to generate a digital surface model (DSM) from a city using a point cloud (LAS) file. First you see how to configure the LASTools plugin. Then we read the metadata and visualise the point cloud. Next we have to split the dataset before we can generate the 0.5 m resolution raster DSM's. After merging the DSM's a hillshade is applied using the Terrain Shading Plugin. The result is visualised in the 3D View. Finally an aerial photograph is draped over the DSM.The example uses the AHN3 Lidar dataset of Rotterdam, the Netherlands, downloaded from PDOK (https://www.pdok.nl/introductie/-/art...)

The video is based on this tutorial https://www.geodose.com/2020/01/tutor...
