A science team lead by the University of Washington is on a multi-year mission to build the most advanced deep ocean laboratory ever deployed - on the edge of an active submarine volcano, over a mile below the surface. What these scientists find in the deep ocean may someday help the way we
live on land. Follow along as researchers visit a 5000 foot tall mountain at the bottom of the ocean and begin to set up the technology that can capture life-altering eruptions in real-time.
