An adrenaline junkie breaks the world rope jumping record - by plummeting the equivalent of a 13-story building at 82mph.

Alexey Bokoch, a Ukrainian rope jumper, smashed the existing title as he fell a total distance of 1,394ft in 12.32 seconds.

The record attempt - which took place high above the Noguera River in the Mont-rebei Gorge in Northern Spain - smashed the previous title, held by a Polish jumper who leapt 1,017ft.
