Virgin Prunes performing live for a bemused TV show. No-one's yet heard of them, but the band do their theatrical moody art-rock show. This is in October 1979, some 15 months before their debut single on Baby Records and one month after their childhood friends, U2 had released their debut single - aren't the Prunes a lot more interesting? Filmed on the Late Late Show in Dublin. Vocalists are Gavin Friday in the white-face and grey suit; Guggi is the blonde one. Has anyone got names for the others?
