This study confronts us with a hard but freeing question: do we actually want the life Jesus calls us into? Walking through Matthew 5:43–48 and Matthew 6:1–4, we see the authority with which Jesus speaks—an authority that doesn’t lower the standard, but transforms us to meet it by surrender. Pastor Keith challenges the idea of “human perfection” and replaces it with kingdom perfection: complete alignment to the Lord through grace and the power of the Holy Spirit, here and now. We’re called to love beyond offense, to stop justifying who deserves our love, to shift our prayers away from worldly gain and toward God’s purposes, and to give without seeking recognition. This teaching urges us to renew our minds, tear down strongholds, and move from comparison-based faith into true discipleship that reflects the heart of Christ.
