P.A. Yeomans was an Australian farmer who pioneered regenerative agriculture via what he coined as "Keyline Design". He developed several highly productive farms in Australia where he demonstrated the advantages of his Keyline Design and other regenerative farming methodologies. Yeomans authored several books detailing the methodologies he developed, namely, Water For Every Farm, 1966. In addition to the advent of Keyline Design, Yeomans also brought to the world a framework of design using the Scale of Permanence.

Yeomans' work has influenced countless people over the last several decades including Bill Mollison, who, in general, is considered the father of Permaculture.
