About the artist -
Aparna Kelkar is a talented and a passionate vocalist of this generation. She is the disciple of Pt. C.R.Vyas. Currently she is receiving training from Dr. Arawind Thatte & Shri Shriram Shintre, one of the senior disciple of Pt.C.R.Vyas. Aparna is endowed with a rich and melodious voice which makes her adept for singing light and classical music.
She is tremendously talented in other forms such as Thumri,Tappa, light music etc. She has performed in many thematic programs like Suvarna Rang, Kalidas Vilas, Saaz Thumricha, Geet Gopal,Kavi jato tenvha, etc. She has performed in various renowned festivals such as Abhisheki Sangeet Mahotsav, Chintamani Jayanti Samaroh , Swarbhaskar Bhimsen Joshi mohotsav and many more.
