Creating a Book Gutter Margin in Microsoft Word

The gutter of a book is the section of paper which is physically 'sucked in' to the binding area and glued. It is wholly non-visible to the reader. As an author, you need to account for that 'lost paper' when you set up the layout for the book.

In this video, I explain what a book gutter margin is. I then show step by step how to create the alternating left-right-left-right gutter margin using Microsoft Word.
