Now, I know phrasal verbs can be quite tricky, especially since many of them come with more than just one or two meanings.  
But don't worry! In this video, I'll break them down for you,  


Take off:
1. Meaning:To remove something, like clothes.
Example:Please take off your shoes before entering the house.

2. Meaning:*For an airplane to leave the ground.
Example:The plane will take off in 30 minutes.

Bring up
1. Meaning:To start talking about a topic.
Example:She brought up an interesting point during the discussion.

2. Meaning:To raise a child. common mistake: i grow up my child 
Example:They brought uptheir children to be kind and respectful.

Turn down
 1. Meaning:To make something quieter or lower in volume.
Example:Can you turn down the music? It is too loud.
2 .Meaning:To say no to something or refuse it.
Example:I had to turn down the job offer because it was too far away.

Give up:
1. Meaning:To stop trying to do something.
Example:I will not give up on my dream to become a doctor.

2. Meaning:To let go of something or relinquish it.
Example:He gave up his seat on the bus for an elderly woman.

Check out

1. Meaning:To leave a place after paying, like in a hotel.
Example:We need to check out of the hotel by 11 AM.

2. Meaning:To look at something carefully or investigate.
Example:I want to check outthat new movie this weekend.

Call off
1. Meaning:To cancel something that was planned.
Example:We had to call off the picnic because it started to rain.

Set up
1. Meaning:To arrange or organize something.
Example:I will set upa meeting for us to talk about the project.

2. Meaning:To frame someone for a crime they did not commit.
Example:He was set up for the crime he did not commit.
