Hey Little Monsters, welcome back to ClevverMusic. So as you just saw I went to Lady Gaga's "Born This Way Ball" show here in Los Angeles on Sunday January 20th. Before the show, I was super excited to check out the brand new Born Brave Bus tailgate experience (which you don't need a ticket to go to by the way). As you know the pre-party happens for about 3 ½ hours prior to her show, brought to you by Gaga's Born This Way Foundation to inspire bravery and promote self-acceptance.

When I arrived at the parking lot across the street from the concert venue where the Born Brave Bus was parked, I was pleasantly surprised at how many Little Monsters were in line all of which were dressed up in costume. While I was waiting in line to get in, volunteers (who were super nice) handed out cards for people over 25 if they wanted to skip the interactive part of the tailgate and go straight inside. Once you got inside you visited the registration pre-bus. An interactive kiosk signs you up to let you know what resources are available to you via the Born Brave Bus. Past registration what greets you is an alcohol-free fun space with lounge chairs, activities like a life size Jenga game, a DJ, various tents and of course the Born Brave Bus. You first visit the info tent with various charities set up at tables to explore, along with fan art on posters and kiosks to find help resources in your area. Oh also in that room you can get crafty and create your own bumper sticker. After visiting that tent you receive a ticket, which allows you to go to the next tent where there is free food- yup there were veggies sticks, turkey burger and veggie burger sliders and brown rice noodles.

Beyond the food was a photobooth for Monsters where of course I had my picture taken, obviously. Then, I got in line to go inside the actual Born Brave Bus. Gaga's parents were in the bus that day so I was hoping to meet them, but alas when I got inside they had already left. Once you step foot into the bus you see an open room with interactive TV screens on the left side and on the right tons of fan art and a monitor scrolling Little Monster photos! After you walk through that you go through a bead curtain and you are in the lounge with comfy pillows, funky décor, and a Kermit the frog animal. Is it from Gaga's infamous frog dress? Not sure.

All in all the experience was awesome and no short of inspiring and ground breaking for a concert tailgate. Outside the bus area were protestors with signs reading "HOMO SEX IS SIN" but it didn't seem like anyone was paying attention. Have you visited the Born Brave Bus? Tell me!
