Can you rig in Procreate Dreams? Yes, but… [Tutorial]

Yes you can make a Forwards Kinematic Rig in Procreate Dreams! However the program is not built for it and with a detailed character you will run out of subgroup and have to split your rig into parts. The general animation workflow isn’t great either, since you can’t select elements directly you have to hunt through the timeline for every individual piece you want to animate. This is more a proof of concept and an idea of what’s possible than it is actually useful. If they add true parenting or rigging tools in the future I may revisit this.
Apologies for audio quality as well. I had to adjust the audio some so the tapping and scrolling on the ipad wouldn’t be so loud.
If people are interested I will share the Dreams File. I’m theory if you go into the draw mode and add a layer on top of each element then delete or hide the original rig pieces you could transform this rig into any character and reuse animations!
