Catalyzing the Ocean Climate Ambition Loop Towards COP 26

On 7 June, the UN Global Compact and the UNFCCC High-Level Climate Champions will convene a high-level meeting to explore how the ocean can deliver on the climate agenda and how rapidly evolving policies, business actions, approaches to ocean management, and innovations can advance ocean-based climate solutions. Crucially, the meeting will explore how ambitious private-sector leadership and bold government policies can reinforce each other in a positive feedback loop, taking ocean-based climate action to the next level.
