I shot staff day for 2023 Space Coast Challenge, had a wedding to go to on Saturday. Weather for the match...hot and very humid. Well the story of this match for me is Winchester 147gr total shit ammo. But also I realized my trigger was not resetting a few times after loading a new mag. I thought this RAMM tactical trigger issues of mine was resolved, looks like I need to fiddle with it and maybe call him again. I think I lost 20-25 seconds due the ammo/trigger issues along with secondary causes (fucked up round count=standing reload and waiting for the moving targets to return). Stage 3 was a disaster for me. I was the first shooter and that first miss fire and I now believe was a non trigger reset really screwed me up. I lost which moving target I shot/didn't shoot, some how missed shooting at the very obvious steel target and shot out of order with the far middle target. Watching that stage is incredibly painful with how bad I fucked it up. At 2:56 missing that single drop turner due to the miss fire is really bothering me, much more than the others for some reason. At 5:28 is when I realized the trigger set issue. After that stage I took the pistol to the safe table and tried to duplicate the trigger issue (no mag) and it only happened once out of approx 20 times. I have to own up to a few bad shots and one fault line PE, but my raw time and points down would be alot less if it weren't for the ammo/trigger issues. I've had bad luck shooting matches in Florida. 2022 Florida State Championship I forgot to bring spare mag on one stage=43 points down then started having mag issues due to the torrential down pour, even lost my shoe on one stage! LOL. 2022 Space Coast Challenge I got DQ'ed 3/4 into the match, and now an ammo issue this year. :(
