My first cloth animation with blender 2.49b, rendered with Yafaray.
Again some settings and details:
bake time about 5s per frame (6x3,2Ghz)
rendering took about 24 hours
Yafaray:
-direct lighting: AO, no caustics
-clamp RGB enabled
-for lighting I only used the normal Sunsky preset with skylight
-the cloth has some translucency for the emit hemisphere
-the wooden sphere has the material from this site:

The softbody:
-cloth has the regular everyday normal gu..., cotton preset with self collision ;)
-cloth has 1024 faces and a subsurf with level 2
-6 wind empties with FStrength Ipo curves to control the wind (was pretty hard)
