Regelo Feher Taltos Traditional Hungarian Drummers (Regélő Fehér Táltos dobcsapat)
'The Regelo Feher Taltos' are a group of Hungarian Drummers with a distinctive identity.
They promote the traditional sounds, movements and clothing of the ancient music makers and tradition keepers from the Carpathian Basin, in a new form.
They express, in lyrics and social interaction, the philosophy of a new generation that is aimed at opening the Hearts of people across cultures, through the direct language of the drum and song.
The team was established in 2007, and they are already 'recognised' in Hungary, where they perform widely, besides visiting surrounding countries. In July this year they took their first steps in representing their aims internationally in North Wales in the UK. During their Tour they contributed to the 2009 Llangollen International Eisteddfod as performers rather than competitors and were very well received.
They also offered workshops - drumming and traditional crafts - their objective being to promote a better understanding of cultural values and at the same time speak to what unites the Human Being beyond cultural differences.
