In the 1980s, an iconic truck was created, customized, and sought after straight from the dealership. Companies like Belltech, Boyd Coddington, and Traders churned out custom trucks and restyling parts fit for the masses.

At first, the clean, monochromatic Boyd look set the tone, but then paint jobs became just as wild as some of the rockstar owners. Phantom dually trucks were created and builders borrowed Corvette suspension to create the ultimate sport trucks.
