Getting to the point of successfully riding a wave every now and then was a real pain in the a.. for me, but still so worth it as the feeling is amazing once your safely up on foil. Too big waves, strong currents, a too small board and a too big foil where a problem to. With the right equipment in even more important the right conditions the popup and everything got way easier. But way easier is still pretty hard when u don't have a surfing background. Footage is only from Session 10 und 13, @ one of Ericeiras Reef Brakes and Baleal, both in Portugal.
