It was essential for RWAMNET members to *scale up their skills on gender* to strengthen their impact in promoting gender equality and transforming social norms in Rwanda.

As a coalition engaged in community initiatives, RWAMNET plays a key role in raising awareness and implementing gender equality programs. However, to achieve sustainable results, it was necessary for its members to gain an in-depth understanding of gender-related concepts, power dynamics, and methods for integrating a gender perspective into their activities. This skill enhancement enables them to better analyze inequalities, design inclusive interventions, and accurately measure their impact.

Additionally, scaling up skills fosters a consistent and harmonized approach among coalition members, thereby enhancing their credibility and ability to collaborate effectively with other local and international actors. Finally, this capacity-building aligns RWAMNET with national and international objectives, such as the SDGs, equipping them with the tools needed to actively contribute to a more just and equitable society.
