You may not all be familiar with freeform surfacing, so I touch on that a bit in the video as well. Ultimately, it means better contrast, crisper vision, and wider fields of view. Combine that with the already incredible optical substrate that glass is, and now you've got something worth taking note of!
Is glass making a comeback? I say yes, many others will agree, some will tell you it's stupid. In my opinion, this new combining of our most advanced anti-reflective technology, and freeform surfacing, to what we KNOW is the best optical substrate across time is absolutely optical bliss. If you haven't experienced it, I HIGHLY recommend it. Weight be damned!
