This sermon was a particular pleasure for me to read. It meets the hearer, in whatever condition we find ourselves, and really seems to raise us up to the kind of joy which most glorifies the Lord. Here we see the deep empathy of Spurgeon for people in all walks of life, and the solid and eternal joys which belong to every true child of God.
