The University of Nottingham Brass Band is a lively and enthusiastic band with great ambitions for the future. They are the largest open group in Blowsoc, the University Music Society, and welcome brass players of all abilities.

They are conducted by Social Work student and tenor horn player Kieren Williams, and Mechanical Engineer student Matthew Husbands, who is more often found lurking at the back behind his tuba.

Having debuted with an impressive fifth place at UniBrass 2015, this year they returned bigger and better than ever. Their efforts were not in vain, as they were awarded third place at the 2016 contest.
