This video explains the basic functionality of API regarding different websites(web services). It provides explanation to the term 'API' in simple terms so that most common users understand the concept and working of API ,which is implemented on most the websites we visit today. This video provides information about different API's available and gives a deeper insight onTwitter's API. In forthcoming series of videos we will work on Twitter API regarding objects and entities like list of Tweets, List of Followers, List of Following, Profile Details, Posting A Tweet,etc.

In next video, we will understand the concept of Authorization. We will look into the files needed to implement Twitter API. We will create an application using Twitter Application Management.
