I visited this awesome space in Ponnani Kerala in the beginning of 2022. I spend a week there sleeping over and watching and practicing Kalaripayattu every day. It was awesome. This place is special because it's basically in the middle of nature. It's also pretty rural and traditional. Lots of kids learning the ancient traditional martial art called Kalaripayattu. The place is called VPS Kalari and the guru is joyful and knowledgable. In this video I share some of the things that happened during the week except learning the gada payattu and the stick spinning.
