Aston Martin V8 Zagato - The most unusual AM of the Eighties

Описание к видео Aston Martin V8 Zagato - The most unusual AM of the Eighties

Today, I’m going to tell you the story about one of the most unusual and rarest Aston Martin cars of the Eighties – Aston Martin V8 Zagato produced from 1986 to 1990 with only 89 cars built.
This car was one more child of a long-term affair between Aston Martin and Italian coachbuilding company Zagato in line with the Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato of the Sixties and Aston Martin DB7 Zagato of the Nineties.
This car was very fast, powerful, and charismatic. At the end of the Eighties, it was the second fastest production car in the world, after Ferrari 288 GTO. But Aston Martin was much more luxurious and comfortable than the 288.
It was a very expensive and special car for celebrities and VIP customers of Aston Martin.
It provided extremely satisfying acceleration on a straight line and actually was very enjoyable on curvy roads. It was a solid, well-engineered, very fast, and unusual car. One of the most interesting cars of the Eighties which not so many people now remember.
