Pros of the WD My Passport SSD External Portable Drive:
• Very easy to setup on computer. WD Discovery software is included on the drive, so no need to download anything.
• In my testing my read speed was 795 MB/s and write was 917 MB/s. This is pretty close to the advertised 1000 MB/s
• Compatible with USB 3.2, USB-C, and USB-A
• WD Discovery makes it easy to encrypt(256-bit AES) the drive with a password
• Very durable design that is shock and vibration resistant.
• Included back up software is easy to setup and works great.
• Available in 3 different sizes and colors.

Cons of the WD My Passport SSD External Portable Drive:
• I experienced some software issues where the drive was not recognized by WD Discovery. This was fixed by turning off UAS.
• Slower speeds when using USB-A connector adapter.
