Early 1990s Sony stereo rack, cleaning, setup and test

The guy next door wanted $75 for it all, but got him down to $50.

Issues: Speakers have severe foam rot, couldn't fix the tape deck (TC-WR520S) and the turntable doesn't output anything (tried phono and line in on the av receiver) Later the CD player also got thrown out just like the tape deck and turntable.

The CD player was likely lase used around 1990, the CD i found in there is (c) 1990 and so is the (c) on the Sony manuals. Also in the bag of Sony manuals came a 1980 Sony suggestions for safety and important safety guards sheet printed in green ink, so maybe the last stereo amplifier Bill had was from the 80s.

3/16/2024 Tonight i'm finally getting around to adding new hinges to the top because the other ones were too tight and the wood broke.
