E50 - Fixing our Harbor Freight Sawmill with our Harbor Freight Titanium Welder

Описание к видео E50 - Fixing our Harbor Freight Sawmill with our Harbor Freight Titanium Welder

When our Harbor Freight saw mill broke a few months ago we resolved the problem by installing a ball screw to raise and lower the saw. The ball screw worked so well that it made the movement too smooth. This movement caused the deck to fall if not locked properly. In this episode we troubleshoot this issue with a few trial and error attempts. To counteract the downward motion and pressure we install gas struts to the saw mill. In order to properly install the gas struts we found it was necessary to weld the brackets in place. We used the least expensive welder Harbor Freight has available the 125 Amp Titanium.
