When Santa enters our world on christmas, his slay, his equipment, his elves and his gifts of course must fully comply with the local standards. In the last years, he received those standards as PDF, and had to read and analyse them, and then he took a note in each of his Christmas Task workitems in Polarion like "this complies with standardXYZ.pdf, chapter 1.7". Lots of work, as you might know. It would be nicer to receive those standards in a more intelligent, granular file format (like ReqIF).

Fortunately, with the DIN DKE Spec 99200 now there is a proposal how a standard in a ReqIF file should look like - which item types, which custom fields etc. And standards in this format today already can be obtained from DIN Media or VDE Verlag.

Therefore, Santa made a big gift to himself and to all of us : a free Polarion Project Template where you can import and maintain those Digital Standards, directly use them in jour projects, and track that usage, with just a few clicks.
