This is the perfect art project for so many times throughout the year. We did this as a Mother's Day Art project in Art club but you could also use this as an Easter Art candle and decorate the candle throughout the year depending on what projects you have going on in art. You literally get to design your own candle so it is a very personalised gift to give someone (it could be a great christmas gift ) . These don't cost a lot to make either, these candles were from poundland in the Uk and you can find similar in Dollar tree.
This is a 1 hour art activity , for 6-11 year olds in Primary school. There is very little prep involved, only taking about 20-30 mins ( for a class of 30 pupils) You could even do this as a birthday party craft activity!
