Whittier Blvd Lowrider Cruise Night 02/17/2023

Whittier Blvd was cracking with a great lowrider cruise night in celebration of Loraine's birthday! For those of you who might not know, Lorraine is one of the forces behind the "Cruising is not a crime" movement! She has done so much for the issue in regards to repealing the anti cruising laws in Cali that what better way to show love & respect than with a cruise night on Whittier Boulevard - East Los!

But wait, isn't Whittier Blvd shut down to cruising? Yes it is but this cruise was held over where the famouse "Whittier Boulevard" sign in at (Whittier blvd & Arizona streets). While there were many police on patrol, they didn't shut things down, though as you will see, the boulevard was active in other ways NOT related to the lowriders or crusing.

It felt great to be back on the boulevard and it is my hope (and many other's) that the anti cruising laws are repealed so that we can be out and about to enjoy this pass time.
