I Didn't Just Code My ECU, I Hacked it! - 2AAE Fuel Pump Fix

Описание к видео I Didn't Just Code My ECU, I Hacked it! - 2AAE Fuel Pump Fix

In this video I show you how to not only custom code your ECU to get it to operate differently than it was designed from the factory but to essentially hack it in my opinion.

If you were ever curious as to how the control modules actually function on your BMW you may find this video interesting. I go into some pretty specific detail.

I'm staring at a computer screen for 90% of the video so I know this video isn't for everyone. I explain in detail what the hex data that pulls up in a trace file actually means.

I did this to fix the fuel pump warning that would constantly pop up on my iDrive screen every time I would drive the car. This started after installing a Stage 2 Walbro 450 fuel pump. This happens as the Walbro pump draws more power than the car is expecting.

If you scan the car you will find a 2AAE code, this mostly pops on on later E90s with the EKPM3 fuel pump module.

You can't just disable to code in your tune as it comes straight from the module and this video shows the only way to remove the code.

Many N54 and N55 guys running a stage 2 LPFP will find this video helpful.

This video also helps you better understand NCS Expert and NCS Dummy.
