We spent our morning exploring the inside of the palace, the surrounding gardens and enjoying the incredible water features.

This is the perfect day trip from Fussen as it is only an hours drive with wonderful views of the mountains.

The palace was built by Ludwig II and is the only palace that Ludwig II lived to see finished and is one of the only palaces that he stayed in.
