Lakhimpur Kheri Violence | Ashish Mishra arrested by Uttar Pradesh Crime Branch | Ground Report

The Uttar Pradesh Crime Branch has now made its first arrest in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case. Ajay Mishra's son Ashish Mishra was arrested by the Crime Branch late last night. Ashish Mishra's case will now be heard on Oct 11th and until then he will be staying in police custody. This comes after Ashish Mishra skipped two summons of the Crime Branch. It is also being reported that Ashish Mishra was arrested after 12 hours of intense questioning. The Crime Branch officials addressed the media after arresting Ashish Mishra, and have claimed that Ashish Mishra gave evasive answers, which led to his arrest. Union Minister Ajay Mishra's son Ashish Mishra has been slapped with some serious charges under different acts of IPC.
