TOP TIPS:
Whenever your gas meter is half way, hit a gas station. There are areas on the road where a gas station might not show up for 1-2 hours.

After hitting the Saudi Border there is no phone card places or areas to buy data. So purchase some roaming from the UAE before you travel. First spot in Saudi is a city called Hufof.

Grab cash for yourself for the gas stations in Saudi. Most gas stations only take the Saudi credit card called Mada or take cash. However the gas station Sasco does take Visa and Mastercard.

The Saudi border can take anywhere from 30 min to 3 hours. Get your Saudi Visa before crossing the border.

To get a your car from the UAE to Saudi you need your "car passport" called a car net and a few other documents. Reach out if you want to know how to get those.

Hufof is a great dinner spot; subway, mcdonalds and Romansiah.

I recommend Route 5 when driving through Saudi; it has more gas stations, food etc. Route 10 is the longest stretch of straight road in the world, so its an experience but consider bringing a gas with you because the gas stations are very far from each other.

Grab one of the sprays for your car so the paint doesn't come off your car as you drive through 10 hours in the desert.
