The Three Degrees (line up: original members Helen Scott and Valerie Holiday along with new arrival Freddie Pool (who joined in 2011)), currently celebrating more than 50 years in the business , have recently been wowing clubland with their amazing live performances.

March 4th, 2016 they released their new studio album called 'Strategy'. Recorded with full band and orchestra at Down In Deep Studios in Atlanta, USA, ‘Strategy (Our Tribute To Philadelphia)’, features the trio’s own very personal tribute to timeless Philadelphia classic such as The O’Jays’ ‘Love Train’, The Trammps’ ‘Disco Inferno’, Billy Paul’s classic, ‘Me & Mr. Jones’ and the exciting title track, popularized by Archie Bell & The Drells, along with a new recording of the group’s own hit, ‘T.S.O.P’.

I took the liberty to edit the album version of 'Strategy' a bit: some cutting, copying, pasting, restructurering and I speeded up the tempo a little. For the video I used footage I recorded with my cellphone recently. Since I used the studio recording to edit, watching the video you might notice that the lipps aren't synchronized at all times (simply because in the live version were some more ad libs than on the studio version).
