Описание к видео If You’ll Believe in Me - 1948 Composers Demo - Alice in Wonderland

Recorded on July 23, 1948, here is the demo to "If You'll Believe in Me," written for Disney's Alice in Wonderland by by Mack David, Jerry Livingston, and Al Hoffman.

This song was intended to be sung by the Lion and the Unicorn, two characters from Lewis Carroll's second Alice book, Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There. The two were, however, not included in the final film.

The concept art used for this video is by Mary Blair. The recording itself comes from the 1995 "Alice in Wonderland: Exclusive Archive Collection" LaserDisc release.
