Books & Books and Writers for Democratic Action present An Afternoon with Kristin J. Anderson, Cecilia Ballí, Ben Fountain and David Modigliani, moderated by WDA founding member Robin Davidson. In this WDA session, Texas writers and activists will consider the threat to democracy these new laws pose and will discuss strategies for engaging and mobilizing the state’s voters, in particular the diverse Latinx population, in an effort to unseat current state leadership in the 2022 midterm elections.
