3 days in georgetown, penang 🇲🇾 | things to do & how much i spent (last malaysia travel vlog)

assalamu alaykum everyone! took me quite long before i uploaded this, but i did my best! i really struggle when it comes to consistency but i still wish y'all would continue to support me despite that🥹 now that we have arrived to the end of my exchange travel diaries, i would say i had the best time for the past five months. i really recognize the fact that being able to travel a lot especially during an academic exchange program is a huge privilege, and i am forever grateful for that (alhamdulillah). when i came back in the philippines, most of my friends asked me "when did you get your funds to travelling" "i always see you traveling a lot, how much do you usually spend" or "you're so lucky as you get to travel a lot" while all of these seem to be lighthearted, i cannot brush off the fact that it took me years, like years to save up just to get to travel around a lot. not to mention that i started saving money by the age of 8 years old. i always wanted to travel the world so i started saving up more seriously when i was around 10 where i would literally opt for cheaper options most of the time or refuse to treat myself a popular snack in the cafeteria. i did not sacrifice in my teen years just for some to call me leeching off from parents' money when in fact, i also worked part time jobs just to save funds for my travels. in a nutshell, i also made this a video about how much i usually spend, so i could also prove that travelling around malaysia won't really cost a fortune. malaysia is such a great country where you really get the worth and value of your money (sometimes more than what u deserve just like our airbnb)
