Natural Tunnel State Park

Natural Tunnel State Park offers visitors a unique blend of natural beauty and geological wonder. The park’s centerpiece is a limestone tunnel naturally carved over thousands of years, stretching 850 feet long and 10 stories high. After taking the chairlift or hiking down to the tunnel, head to the Daniel Boone Wilderness Trail Interpretive Center or Blockhouse to learn about the important role the Wilderness Road played in America’s westward expansion and the men, women and children who traveled it. The park also offers cabins, camping, picnic shelters and special programs, like cave tours and ranger-led nature hikes, making it a year-round destination for visitors of all ages.
