After 3 days of planes & trains, I finally made it to the starting line. Camino day 1 from SJPP to Roncesvalles begins tomorrow.

I got my train tickets on the SNCF Connect website. They have an app as well. From the Gare Montparnasse train station, you take the high speed train to Hendaye and get off in Bayonne 4 hours later. Get a lower level train ticket unless you want to feel warm & nauseous. From the same station in Bayonne, a 2 cart single level train to SJPP 1 hour later.
