"In October 1988 Lou accompanied my band on a tour of Switzerland - the idea being that he would play an opening set by himself before the band came on stage. This he did, and very successfully. But at the Restaurant Baren in Rohrbach it was decided he would also play a set in the bar, whether before or after the show I can't remember. Anyway, a team of willing volunteers carried in the equipment and set it up, and Lou, of course, was only to happy to play his piano for an extra set. Lou's playing and enthusiasm speaks for itself, as does the obvious love and admiration of his audience.

Lou was the piano player in Killing Floor, The Mick Clarke Band, Blues'n'Trouble and The Rory Gallagher Band. he also played with Chuck Berry, Albert Collins, Otis Rush and many others. More info at http://www.mickclarke.com or http://www.killingfloor.org
